I play and use characters from my books and albums, "The Dirty Seven: Ladies Beware" and "Booby Trapped: Men Beware! The Dirty Seven Sisters." I also tell of my years on the dating scene and how even a hiatus of 20 years still made no difference in the types of men and women who are out there searching for a meaningful relationship.

My experiences and those of my friends make up the bulk of my first book. Interviews with men make up the majority of my second book. Each serves as a field guide for what to avoid in your search for love and happiness.

While I'm describing my dating experiences and those of my friends and interviewees, my partner is totally immersed in reading "Booby Trapped." He barely hears a word I am saying, until....
